Perkins throwing hard

(Undated)  --02-22-2012--  The University of Minnesota moved to the top spot in this week's National Wrestling Coaches Association poll.  The Gophers beat No. 4 Iowa and top-ranked Oklahoma State over the weekend in a national dual meet tournament.  The Gophers will next compete in the Big Ten championships in early March. Wolves lose in OT in Denver

Brodziak signs contract extension

booth.   ESPN announced it will use the two-man crew of Mike Tirico and Jon

Buckeyes handle Gophers after 20-0 first half run

Wild Rookie Johnson Takes Part In Skills Competition

Adrian Peterson Talks


(Eden Prairie, MN)  --  Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson yesterday spoke publicly for the first time since his December 30th knee surgery.  Peterson says the first week of rehabilitation was extremely difficult, but the pain has since subsided and he's feeling better every day. Team officials concede Peterson might not be ready for the season opener next season, but Peterson says his goal is to be in uniform for that game.
