Bob Stevens

I was born in the back of a 1954 Dodge 5 window pickup, on the edge of a bean field in northern Minnesota. Ma went right back to work, forgetting that I, her newborn, was on the tailgate. Soon after I fell off the truck, and saw ma's tail lights fade away, the wolves came.  They, the wolves, must have felt I was to small, or pathetic to kill or eat, so instead they took me in, raising me as one of there own. To this day, the ways of the woods, and the pack are alive inside me, and have come in handy.
Remember, it's a dog eat dog world out there, and by the way,.................... none of this is true.

THAT RUG MAKES ME SICK

Some rugs are just plain ugly; others do nothing to enhance a room. But can the sight of a particular black-and-white rug pattern truly make people feel ill?

Yes, say researchers Frederick Bonato and Andrea Bubka at Saint Peter's College and their colleagues, who recently observed a "sickening rug phenomenon."

Looking at a picture of a black-and-white patterned rug for five minutes gave people "motion-sickness-like symptoms," reports a study in the journal Perception.
