Love traditional country and its classic storytelling? Well, Carly Pearce might have a song up your alley.
The singer's dropped a new track, "Fault Line," that pays homage to the music of country's yesteryear.
"Some of my favorite songs were in the era of Tammy Wynette and George Jones," says Carly. "'Fault Line' is my take on writing one of those classic, 'I'm gonna rip your head off' country songs. The playful angst in this song makes it one of my favorite moments on the record."
"Fault Line" is the latest preview of Carly's upcoming fourth album, hummingbird. Arriving June 7, the project features its lead singles, "We Don't Fight Anymore," "Country Music Made Me Do It," "Heels Over Head," "My Place" and the title track -- all of which are out now.
Hummingbird is available for preorder and presave now.

Thomas Rhett is back with a new single, "Beautiful as You," and if you're wondering who inspired it, it was his wife, Lauren.
"This is an anthem for everybody who feels like they out-kicked their coverage," Thomas tells the press with a laugh. "There was one day a couple years back when I was looking at my wife, and I was like, 'Why in the world did you choose me?' I get to be with someone who could easily be on the cover of a magazine, and I get to see her in all her forms – a partner, a mother, a friend, even a philanthropist."
"I just feel like I’ve got a first row seat at almost-perfection, if you will," he notes. "And like the song says, 'Seriously, what is somebody as amazing as you doing with somebody like me?'"
Those sentiments are reflected in the lyrics of "Beautiful as You," which Thomas co-wrote.
"What's someone as beautiful as you/ Doin' ridin' 'round with someone like me?/ I swear, girl, you could havе anyone you choose. I should stop askin' questions 'forе you get up and leave/ What's someone as beautiful as you/ Doin' wakin' up with someone like me?/ Ain't gonna lie, you could have anyone you choose/ I should stop askin' questions 'fore you get up and leave," goes the chorus.
"Beautiful as You" previews the upcoming follow-up to 2022's Where We Started.
Thomas shares, "So much of my music is a reflection of the stage of life [Lauren and I] are in - we’re in a very joyful season - and this song is just the tip of the iceberg to the rest of this next album."
"Beautiful as You" is out now wherever you listen to music.

If you saw Scotty McCreery's Rise & Fall album cover and wondered why he's on a mountaintop, there's a beautiful story behind that.
The spot where Scotty is sitting is where he proposed to his now-wife, Gabi. It is also near where the North Carolina native conceptualized Rise & Fall with his songwriting buddies.
"If you look on the album cover, the mountain that's out in the background, if you just go over that mountain, that's where the whole album was written, kind of on that side. Those North Carolina mountains, the Linville area, is just a special, special place to me and Gabi. That mountain, that rock where I'm standing is where I proposed to Gabi," Scotty explains.
"It's called the Little Lost Cove Cliffs Trails. [There's] just a lot of significance to making this album there, to starting our life together there on that same rock," says the "Cab in a Solo" singer.
Now, Scotty may have looked calm and collected on the album cover, but his real feelings were far from what was portrayed.
"It was like peak season where the leaves were changing [on] the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it was really pretty. It was also extremely cold and windy, so I was putting on a smile but I was freezing inside," Scotty reveals.
"I don't think my team wants to do a mile hike up to the rock for the next album shoot, I bet we'll just do a green screen or just stay at home," he adds with jest. "But it was a fun album shoot for sure."
Rise & Fall is out now wherever you listen to music.

Of her late father's love for OU, Krystal Keith shares, "His passion started as far back as when he was 12 and 13 years old and worked in the stadium selling cokes just so he could see the games. For as long as I can remember, he took us to every bowl game no matter what his work schedule was. And he was on the sidelines of nearly all the different OU sporting events. He bled Crimson and Cream."

Jon Pardi adores his mother, Shelly, and there are many reasons why.
Recalling her best qualities in a press interview, Jon shares, "My mom’s always been there for me. First of all, she’s a great mom. She’s an angel. She takes care of people that aren’t even in the family. She’s always been like that and she’s a great mother."
"She’s always proud and she’s always there supporting and being a great mom. She’s just a good human being. There’s not one mean bone in her body," the "Last Night Lonely" singer continues.
"And she cries about every time I talk to her. She always worries about me. I have to tell her, 'Stop worrying about me,'" adds Jon.

Luke Bryan's Farm Tour has been ongoing since 2009. It'll hit its 15th run in September, with four of the six shows already announced.
While Farm Tour can be fun, it's more than that for Luke. To him, it's an opportunity to give back to the community and the less fortunate.
"The beauty of Farm Tour is we’re out there on the farm. We’re helping people feed Americans. We’re giving out scholarships. You’ve got 20,000 people piling into an alfalfa field, corn field, hay field, it doesn’t matter. It’s a field," Luke tells the press.
"But when you put that many people out there in the fall where the [temperatures] are kinda getting a little cool at night, nothing is more special than Farm Tour and that’s why I keep doing it year after year," he shares.
Currently, 83 college scholarships have been awarded to students who come from farming families and are attending the local college or university near Luke's Farm Tour stops. Additionally, Luke and Bayer will continue partnering up for their Here’s to the Farmer initiative to benefit Feeding America and provide meals to those experiencing hunger.
Tickets to Luke's 2024 Farm Tour are available now on his website.
On the music front, Luke is approaching the top 30 of the country charts with his latest single, "Love You, Miss You, Mean It."

"I feel like moms, you guys always get it the hardest," TJ tells the press. "I think the last thing I wanted for most of my life was like, 'Gah, I don’t want to be like my mom,’ and then you get older, and I’m like, 'I do. I want to be like my mom.'"
"She’s got a lot of very strong qualities, a lot of qualities that we had growing up I think that have made us, us, and successful and who we are, are from her. So, here’s to all you mothers out there," he shares, before adding with a laugh, "We literally wouldn’t be here without you."
